A postbiotic is beneficial bacteria that’s inactivated (not live) - so it doesn’t need to survive your gut to be useful. We use Lactobacillus LB because it’s a more stable, less fussy way to support digestion day-to-day, and many people with sensitive guts find it easier to tolerate than some live bacteria.
Is Gut Wealth suitable for diabetics?
Yes, as both Gut Wealth products are sugar free - they are suitable for diabetics.
Why are there B vitamins (B1, B5, B6, B12)?

Is there sugar in your products?
Gut Wealth is sugar free. Our liquids do contain fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which are prebiotic fibres made from beet sugar. These are not to be mistaken for refined table sugar so there’s no glucose spikes!

There’s no known medication that should cause any issues but you can check with a pharmacist or GP for your specific situation if you want to be extra careful.

Can I take Gut Wealth if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Does it contain milk or lactose?
Gut Wealth capsules contain a small dairy-derived ingredient. There's a tiny amount of lactose (c.0.278g lactose per capsule) - it's about the equivalent of lactose as you'd get in a teaspoon of milk.
This amount of lactose is typically not enough to provoke symptoms in people with lactose intolerance
It’s a small amount, but worth knowing if you’re avoiding dairy completely.

Can I take more than 1 sachet or 1 capsule a day?
We recommend sticking to 1 per day. But if you’d like to increase to 2 per day, that’s absolutely fine - it shouldn’t cause any adverse effects. Some customers choose to take 2 on days they know their symptoms are more likely to be triggered such as travelling.
Is it suitable for kids?
We generally recommend Gut Wealth for over 12s. If you’re introducing it, start with half a sachet to see how they get on. If capsules are difficult to swallow (they are on the larger side), you can open them and mix the contents into yoghurt - and the liquid can also be taken with yoghurt or a fruit drink if that’s easier.
Can I take it while on antibiotics?
Yes you can take Gut Wealth on antibiotics. A common use case for Gut Wealth is to support your gut when taking heavy antibiotics.
