What is a postbiotic, and why do you use them?
A postbiotic is beneficial bacteria that’s inactivated (not live) - so it doesn’t need to survive your gut to be useful. We use Lactobacillus LB because it’s a more stable, less fussy way to support digestion day-to-day, and many people with sensitive guts find it easier to tolerate than some live bacteria.
Is Gut Wealth science-backed?
Yes. Gut Wealth is built around ingredients that have published research behind them, and we keep our approach grounded in science. Our proprietary postbiotic is backed by 40+ studies so you can be confident that you’re making a daily good gut choice based on evidence.
What outcomes were measured in the studies (e.g., urgency, stool frequency, discomfort)?
The studies measured things like bowel movement frequency, stool consistency, and diarrhoea duration, plus symptom scores for bloating, abdominal pain/comfort, distention, and the “incomplete evacuation” feeling. Results shown include reported improvements over 4 weeks (for example 82% bloating and 81% loose stool consistency) and, in acute diarrhoea studies, a shorter duration (63.4h to 39.5h) with a higher resolution rate by 96 hours (85.7% vs 52.6%).
